How to get the most out of expressions in SSRS 2000?

Hi. I am increasingly frustrated over my inablility to find much reference material on using expressions in SSRS 2000. In my WROX book, there is mention of the immediate if (IIF(condition),true_action,false_action) and I saw somewhere about a SWITCH statement, but I can find little else. I have been so spoiled by Crystal Reports very comprehensive programming tools, but I would really like to use SSRS. Can anyone direct me to a resource that provides a complete description / reference for expression syntax?

Thanks VERY much!

Tom Stanley

I have tried to find stuff on BOL for reporting services but it hasnt helped much. Google is much better. Here's one sample:http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/bknight/reportingservicesconditionalformatting.asp

Also, if you have the latest BOL Version, you can filter by Reporting Services and look for Expressions and they do have some sample scenarios.
